Alongside the roles traditional held by law graduates as lawyers, prosecutors and judges, there is great demand for legal expertise in public administration, industry, associations and other private and public bodies. In some countries, it is also common for members of parliament, local councils and individuals in other positions of trust and leadership to acquire a qualification in law.
Purpose of the Degree Programme
The purpose of the programme is to provide students with advanced competences in law. Our graduates will be able to understand and analyse both legislation and legal practice on a whole range of subjects, in addition to academic literature on law and legislation in small jurisdictions in a political union.
Employability and Further Education
Graduates – who also hold a BA in Law – are qualified to work as lawyers or judges.
Graduates with this degree in law are qualified to undertake PhD studies in law or equivalent fields
